In early 2020 WSKF Architects  announced a new generation of leadership in our firm and a multi-prong brand refresh initiative.

We are very pleased to announce that Dalyn Novak, a senior project architect, is now a principal and new co-owner of our firm. Dalyn joined us in 2006 after graduating with her architectural degree from Kansas State University and has developed a diverse body of work and leadership skills. She has already taken on a more active role in managing projects and in representing our firm in business organizations and the community at large.

Also named as a principal is Vince Magers, our longtime marketing director. For the past 10 years he has led our marketing and communications with responsibility for client interaction and branding across online, print and other touch points. He has degrees from UMKC and the University of Kansas. Vince ably represents the firm through our active memberships and contributions across numerous business and community organizations in metro Kansas City.

They join longtime principals Rick Kuhl and John E. Freshnock as partners in the firm.

Principal Mark Spurgeon had been transitioning into retiring for several months and has retired from the firm effective at the end of 2019.

The firm will officially be WSKF Architects, the shortened version of our name. The firm is also gradually rolling out an initiative in early 2020 to freshen our brand with new elements such as our redesigned logo and our print and online marketing presence.
