In order to serve their patients in one of the smaller communities outside of Kansas City, this growing practice of Radiation Oncologists chose to build a new facility in Ottawa, Kansas. The facility’s patient waiting, nurse’s station and main circulation focus outward toward a protected central courtyard, allowing for an abundance of natural light to flood the spaces and to provide a tranquil setting for staff and patients to enjoy. Natural limestone and stained wood finishes enhance a warm palette of colors for a non-clinical and comforting atmosphere.
