Children’s Mercy Cordell D. Meeks Jr. Clinic

This Children’s Mercy Clinic in Kansas City, Kansas replaces a former location that was significantly undersized to serve the population of Wyandotte County. This new facility more than doubles the former clinic’s size. The new Cordell D. Meeks, Jr. clinic provides more efficient staff areas, better patient flow, doctors offices and additional services, including the exam rooms, clinics, minor procedures, speech and hearing exam rooms, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and patient education areas. The new clinic is designed around a Rainforest theme with “trees” located throughout the clinic and a children’s interactive learning center. This includes a large rainforest mural with lighted forest animal panels and a plasma TV integrated into the mural’s waterfall.
