For its Gardens at Jackson Creek independent living development, owner Overland Property Group turned to WSKF Architects for a facility design that would balance the adjacent Villages at Jackson Creek senior living accommodations as well as an enduring aesthetic appeal and forward-thinking boomer generation. As with all of our senior care projects, WSKF’s design team was guided by a simple principle — how would we design the facility for our own parents? The four-story design incorporates profile-reducing stair-stepped wings that house 114 one- and two-bedroom units. There are eight different and unique unit designs. The overall design complements the adjacent Villages of Jackson Creek. The facility layout gives residents the flexibility of being near or set off from common amenities such as community dining, family/private dining, community shop, conference center, salon/barber shop, fitness center and resident center. The 115,000-square-foot facility is situated on a seven-acre site and includes ample outdoor living space, convenient parking and covered drop-off protection.
