Chicken N’ Pickle

In creating this new pickleball, dining and entertainment venue, the developers turned to WSKF Architects as the lead architects for the project. The development includes four indoor and four outdoor courts for pickleball, a game growing in popularity. The enclosed courts allow for year-round play. The courtyard offers lawn games such as bocce ball, fire pits and seating for watching sporting and other events. The 4,800-sq.-ft. restaurant is a rotisserie chicken concept paired with a full service bar. The indoor area accommodates 250 guests. Inside and out, thoughtful design and integration of Chicken N’ Pickle brand imagery create a fun and fresh atmosphere. The overall design is meant to fit and take advantage of the project’s setting along the well-traveled Burlington Road corridor near the intersection of Armour Road. When it opened in late 2016, Chicken N’ Pickle took its place as a distinct, new venue in the growing hospitality and entertainment district in North Kansas City.
