As part of our on-call work for the City of Raytown WSKF Architects was commissioned to lead and design a project to renovate and restore the tennis courts in C. Lee Kenagy Park. The courts are part of this 18-acre park and its multi-purpose mix of amenities that includes a fishing pond, baseball, softball, a short walking trail, playground and other features.

The scope was to replace the playing surface on four courts adhering to U.S. Tennis Association standards, new fencing and ADA/accessibility improvements. The courts will also accommodate youth play and pickle ball. The project is being funded through a grant from the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund sponsored by the National Park Service. Construction is starting on the project.
