Homefield Showcase Center

At its opening in 2024 the Homefield Showcase Center quickly took its place as one of the premier multi-sport facilities in metro Kansas City and the region. Populous was the architect of record with WSKF Architects serving as a design partner collaborating on design development through construction documents and construction administration for the exterior of the 150,000-sq.-ft. facility.

The center’s design accommodates basketball, volleyball, football academies, tournaments, practice and training, and other sporting events. The facility also hosts a range of corporate events.

The center provides 10 basketball courts that can be converted to 12 volleyball courts, lounge, physical therapy center and food vendors. An outdoor practice field is designed to accommodate a range of sports.

The facility is a pre-engineered metal building with the exterior artfully blending perforated and solid metal materials, wood-look aluminum panels, masonry on the first floor along with storefront at the entry. WSKF also designed an outdoor balcony overlooking the practice field.
