The Village of Loch Lloyd has been one of our long-time clients, and when they reached out to us about refreshing their beloved ballroom after basement flooding had caused damage, we saw it as more than a repair job—it was an opportunity to elevate the space for years to come.

Honoring the Original While Enhancing the Experience

From the start, we knew our goal was to maintain the ballroom’s old-time character while giving the entire space a fresh, updated feel.

One of our first steps was expanding the small prep kitchen. We designed this area to support busy event operations while maintaining a clean, sophisticated look. The new quartz countertops and efficient layout make catering much smoother.

Lighting was another key part of the transformation. We selected new fixtures that bring out the elegance of the ballroom while also enhancing the warmth and ambiance. It was important to us to complement the existing Gothic elements rather than compete with them. The result is a space that feels timeless yet fully suited for modern-day events.

Smart Material Choices That Last

We also took this opportunity to replace the flooring throughout the ballroom with luxury vinyl tile (LVT). It offers the upscale look we were aiming for while providing the durability necessary for a high-traffic venue. In the lobby, we added bold vinyl wallcoverings to create a visual pop and set the tone as guests enter.

Even the restrooms got a complete upgrade with porcelain tile, sleek finishes, and LED-lit mirrors. It may seem like a small detail, but we believe every corner of an event space should feel cohesive and considered.
