The increasing student population at Lincoln University required total renovation and a major addition to the Scruggs Student Center. WSKF Architects designed the project for the university with three new entrances, major meeting room additions, administrative offices, a bookstore, food court, and a new outdoor student amphitheater for music and entertainment. The building's mechanical/electrical systems were totally renovated as well as the kitchen and elevators. The exterior work was designed to harmonize with the campus colonial brick architecture using quality materials throughout. As a result of an increase in demand for on-campus living, WSKF was asked to renovate Tull Hall. This once-abandoned facility to provide 32 two-bedroom units, 12 three-bedroom units and one resident apartment, which total 101 beds. A link to Perry Hall was also incorporated through a TV/game room addition for both facilities. Modifications to the original building included tuckpointing, window replacement, and roof repair, as well as new mechanical/electrical and security systems.
