This multi-state dealership ownership group turned to WSKF Architects for design of this new Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM dealership and their adjacent 31,300-sq.-ft. Ford dealership. The facilities are part of the new 60-acre Legends Auto Plaza in fast-growing western Kansas City, Kan. The new 27,500-sq.-ft. C/D/J/R dealership includes an appealing showroom, customer lounge, business development center, sales and administrative offices, a parts department and service area tailored to Victory's business plan. It includes 11 service bays, four quick service bays, two truck bays and two for wash/detailing. A freestanding car wash at the adjacent Ford dealership will serve both dealerships. The design for Victory C/D/J/R blends the manufacturer's latest dealership and branding guidelines with the requirements of the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kan. in terms of overall design and materials. WSKF worked with our engineering partners at Bartlett & West to lay out the nearly 4-acre site for efficient vehicle flow and customer access as well as to incorporate best management practices for on-site storm water retention and filtering. To reduce long-term operational costs, the design incorporates energy efficient glazing and insulation, LED lighting and high-efficiency HVAC systems. The dealership also features an electric car charging station. Overall, the dealership will accommodate and display more than 200 vehicles.
