Williams Spurgeon Kuhl & Freshnock has a flat organizational structure, which assures our clients of principal level involvement in their project. The company principals are Homer Williams, Mark Spurgeon, Rick Kuhl and John Freshnock. Founding Principal Homer Williams began his practice in 1966, and has been a business member of the Kansas City Northland for over 39 years.

WSKF has a staff of 22, including 11 architects, 3 interior designers, one architectural illustrator and one intern landscape architect. Because of the size of the firm, the principals are involved in each project and work directly with the design team. Project “ownership” is the inherent attitude of all WSKF design team members. We are as mindful of the project requirements and needs as our clients. The firm’s success has been founded in exemplary service and the belief that excellence in design is essential to exceeding client’s expectations.
